The Grainville Tennis Club is pleased to have Joe Keany back for his fourth season as Head Professional. Joe is a licensed Level 2 Performance Coach, he is presently upgrading his coaching qualification to the new LTA Senior Performance Award. Joe, originally from New York City is looking forward to the 2010 tennis season at The Grainville Tennis Club, especially now the club has achieved Tennis Club Mark. The club has made great strides since his appointment as Head Pro. The Grainville Tennis Club now has an established junior programme for all ages, and levels. We are now directly linked to 6 local primary schools, building a solid mini tennis programme to feed into our high performance Junior Academy.

The Grainville Tennis Academy, now in its fourth year is now the most successful junior performance programme in the county based on players, and tournament results. Over the past 15 years Joe has been applying his expertise working as a full time Tennis Professional in Jersey. He has been involved in both the development and implementation of the Grainville Junior Academy, teaching both adult and juniors of all levels and a touring coach for our National Junior Club League Teams. He has developed scores of local and nationally ranked athletes and brings over 15 years of community club teaching and programming experience to our club.
